February’s Special Events

First, we are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 5th at Sage on 47th in Cape Coral from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm! As announced at our last meeting, we will be holding elections for the executive board prior to the event. Let us know if you are interested or have any questions.

The Gulf Coast Young Republicans are bringing together motivated young conservatives for an epic kickoff event you won’t want to miss. Join us Saturday, February 7th at TT’s Tiki Bar in Punta Gorda from 1-3:30 PM for an exciting evening of connection, conversation, and momentum-building for the future of the conservative movement.

 Special Guest Spotlight:
We’re proud to welcome Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia, the state’s top financial watchdog and a leading voice behind the Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight (FAFO). CFO Ingoglia is at the forefront of exposing wasteful government spending, fighting for smarter budgeting, and advocating for meaningful property tax relief for Floridians. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from a leader shaping Florida’s financial future. Also joining us is School Board Member Kim Amontree, bringing her local insight and leadership to the conversation.

This event is all about young leaders, new friendships, and big ideas—the kind that will help shape the future of the Republican Party in Charlotte County. Whether you’re new to the movement or already deeply involved, this is the place to be. Bring your energy, bring a friend, and get ready for a night that’s equal parts fun, inspiring, and impactful.
